Small Waters Have a Big Impact

A letter signed by 20 scientists in the UK has been sent to the Government highlighting the importance of not ignoring the significance that even some of the smallest water courses and bodies have in supporting an abundance of natural life.  Cumulatively making up 80% of England’s freshwaters and supporting an estimated 70% of freshwater species, the scientists are appealing for urgent action to help protect these vulnerable areas.
